Lack of access to healthcare in remote rural villages holds back development and causes enormous hardship.

Tag’s health projects have mostly focused on women’s health, as the primary caregivers for children and the elderly. We currently focus primarily on improving maternal health (in line with Millennium Development Goal 5). Our projects work to reduce infant and maternal mortality through improved understanding of basic health, hygiene and nutrition and through improved detection and treatment of key heath threats.
