The support of charitable trusts and foundations is vital to the work of Tag.

The generous gifts from charitable trusts around the world have enabled us to bring knowledge, expertise and innovative technology driven solutions that continue to support many more people to develop local capacities in transforming their livelihood opportunities from Sri-Lanka to Azerbaijan.

Together we have supported communities in landmine-affected villages in Azerbaijan to develop first aid and emergency recovery skills; empower young people to develop leadership skills and support traditional craft of carpet weaving to support income generation capacities. We have also established demonstration farm and training centre in Sri-Lanka that teach climate change adaptation; the protection of natural resources; soil and water conservation; reforestation; and bio-diversity.

Thousands of farmers in the most vulnerable communities in the country have been able to adopt cutting-edge technologies and methodologies, such as micro-irrigation and the use of protective structures, to enable cultivation of off-season fruits and vegetables enhance the quality of their produce and access to new markets. Together, the support of the charitable trusts and foundations has enabled Tag to make positive impact on the lives of over 10,000 people both directly and indirectly.

We welcome unrestricted support, endowment gifts, and funding for specific projects. We honour the unique preferences and philanthropic goals of each of our foundation partners and implement rigorous evaluation of all of our projects with a focus on measurable results.
