Leiman Fund Grants

Sponsoring high school education for vulnerable Jewish youth

Launched in 2019, the Fund now supports youth in seven schools in Argentina, Ukraine, and Belarus

Project in brief

Ricardo Leiman, founder of the Leiman Fund, has seen first hand the impact of a good high school education to give life opportunities. Now, this opportunity is being offered to a growing circle of deserving young people in impoverished communities, so they too can reap the benefits of good education.

Every beneficiary commits to making the most of their education, and to putting back into their own communities when the time comes. We are very proud to be working with these inspirational young people, who are thriving despite often dealing with challenging circumstances.

More on education grants

The Leiman Fund has a close working relationship with its partner schools. We are interested in the progress of the students and look for ways to address their welfare. Most of our current beneficiaries are in Ukraine and Belarus. We will be  visiting each of the schools and meeting with the students once the crisis abates. It is important for us that the students know and feel that there are people around the world who care about them and their future.

That is why in addition to the grants, the Fund arranges for holiday gifts for the young people, and is helping the schools with a range of initiatives from hiring a social worker to installing a generator to refurbishing an bomb shelter.
